Department of Entomology

Programs Offered

The Department of Entomology is offering admission in the following academic programs:
(i) BSc. (Hons.)
The students intend to take admission in BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture Program should have passed Intermediate (Pre-Medical or Pre- Engineering) with at least 2nd Division and he/she have no third division in the academic career. The University of Haripur will arrange a general test for admission in the BSc. (Hons) Program.

(ii) MSc. (Hons.) Entomology and M. Phil Zoology
A candidate seeking admission to the course for the MSc. (Hons.)  should have passed Bachelor Degree Examination in aggregate with CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent for M.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Entomology/Zoology, and 45% marks or its equivalent relating to the subject. He/she must have passed subject NTS test arranged by the University of Haripur with 50% marks.

(iii) PhD. Entomology
A candidate seeking admission to PhD must have MSc. (Hons.) Degree Examination or an equivalent examination in 1st division or 3.00/4.00 CGPA from a recognized institution in a field of study related to the subject including Zoology, he desires to take up. They must have passed GAT (Subject) with at least 60% marks. The in- service candidates have to get NOC from their employer and studyleave for this purpose.
