HOD Message

Our department is imparting quality education in the domains of food science & technology. Over the years, the department has established its repute in academic and research domains. By following SDGs, we are struggling to develop scientific manpower, provide technical assistance to stakeholders and community development services to achieve eliminate poverty, erase hunger, establish good health and well-being, provide quality education, improve clean water and sanitation, create decent work and economic growth, support industry through innovation and research deliverables. The graduates of our department are serving in educational institutes, research centers, regulatory bodies (such as food authorities), NGOs and industrial sectors at national and international level.

We do believe novel research in food processing & preservation, safety and pharmaceutical sciences as our milestones toward success. Over the years, our graduates and Ph.D. scholars have proved themselves as pride for the University by making valuable contributions towards national growth.
