PSY Alumni

Purpose

The purpose of the PSY Alumni is to build up connection of old students of department of Psychology with their fellow students, teachers, and department to stay connected with the university. The Department of Psychology aims to develop a database of all alumni to utilize their experience and continuous support for the betterment of prospective students. It will offer them opportunities for networking, mentorship, career growth, and employment.

Membership

Any student who remained student of the Department of Psychology for at least one semester (16-18 weeks) will be by default a member of PSY Alumni. There are four tiers of membership:

1. Bronze: All students enrolled in one program in the Department of Psychology
2. Silver:  All students enrolled in two or more programs in the Department of Psychology
3. Gold : Choice of availing four specified benefits after making annual payment
4. Diamond: Availing all benefits after making annual payment

Membership Form

Annual fee will be charged for Gold (RS. 500) and Diamond memberships (RS. 1000) on prescribed form.

Membership Benefits

1. Opportunity to attend departmental activities, workshops, seminars, conferences at no or reduced cost
2. Opportunity to attend cultural programs, and social welfare festivals
3. Opportunity to attend annual meetings and luncheons/dinners
4. Opportunity to participate in Facility of campus car entry/parking
5. Facility of participating in Sports event
6. Facility of using campus library
7. Provision of information about employment and career opportunities and to attend job fairs
8. The members of PSY Alumni can also give back to department and university being a volunteer, a mentor, and/or a contact person for fellow alumni or prospective students.
