Department of Physics

Introduction

The University of Haripur (UoH) being established in July, 2012 was formally recognized by HEC in Jan, 2013. The establishment of the Department of Physics has been started during its academic journey in Spring Semester, 2020. Currently Physics department offering BS PHYSICS 4 year and MS Physics. Our specilize streams are: Radiation/Health Physics,Nano sciences and environmental sciences focus on the seismology and seismic events. Faculty quality is of utmost importance for strong academic programs. The Department believes that combining scientific research with teaching raises the quality of teaching. In order to best serve its students and the University, the Department strives to attract and nurture faculty of high calibre in research and teaching. The Department strives to maintain a productive research climate in which innovative and effective teaching flourishes.
