The Planning and Development department is the backbone of an organization which plays a fundamental and vital role in its growth and development. The Planning & Development Department of University of Haripur works under the supervision of the Vice Chancellor. The role of Planning & Development Department is to assess the current and future needs for physical and academic infrastructure and HR needs and prepare plans accordingly.
Status of Development Projects
University of Haripur is newly established by the Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through “The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act, 2012. The P & D prepared and submitted the Feasibility Study to HEC for conversion of the Haripur Sub Campus of Hazara University to fully fledged University. The Higher Education Commission, Islamabad recognized the university and finally awarded the NOC for Degree Awarding Status to University of Haripur in January 2013. University has already completed renovation activities. Now the project of academic & administration blocks is in execution phase. Moreover, Advance labs, hostels, sports center, business incubation center, human resource development and other projects are in planning phase.
