Prime Minister Laptop Scheme Phase III (2016)

It is notified for the information of all students that the registration process for the PM Laptop Scheme Phase III (2016) has been opened. All those students who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for the scheme latest by December 26, 2016.

  • Students enrolled in PhD/ MS/ MPhil or equivalent 18 year program.
  • Students enrolled in 1 or 2-year Master’s degree program (morning and evening)
  • Student enrolled in 4-year or 5-year Bachelor degree program (morning and evening)
  • No laptop shall be issued to those who have availed in the past from such initiative(s) taken by the government or by the higher education institute.

Guidelines for Registration of Prime Minister Laptop Scheme Phase III (2016)

For registration / updating profile, please follow following guidelines:

  • Last date for online registration is December 26, 2016.
  • Students are advised to Apply Online by Registering or Updating Profile by visiting Students' Service Portal http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk.
  • Those who have applied in previous year (Phase II scheme) and are not selected but their record is validated, they have to update their profile / academic record through online portal w.e.f. December 3, 2016.
  • Those students who are admitted in any academic program after June 30, 2016 are not eligible to apply.
  • Students are strictly advised to enter CGPA of the latest result announced as on June 30, 2016 (result announced after June 30, 2016 will not be considered)
  • Select “year of study” as on June 30, 2016 i.e. if result declared as on June 30, 2016 is of
  • first/second semester than select “1st year of study”
  • third/fourth semester then select “2nd year of study”
  • fifth / sixth semester then select “3rd year of study”
  • seventh / eight semester then select “4th year of study”
  • Student must submit his/her own CNIC, mobile number and email address during the registration process, as the provided data will be used for further processing
  • While registering, don’t provide mobile numbers which are converted to other networks as you will not receive confirmation code and application will not be processed.
