Inauguration of Campus Management System and Student App Developed by the University of Haripur Directorate of IT Services

The event was organized at the University of Haripur. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Shafiqur Rehman, honorable Deans, Heads of Departments, and other faculty members participated. The event was specially hosted by Dr. Ateeque Ur Rehman, Director of IT Services, and his team. They recently developed a state-of-the-art Campus Management System, including the Admission Portal, Head of Department Portal, Undergraduate Portal, Advanced Studies and Research Board Portal, Finance Portal, Student Portal, Examination Portal, Provost Portal, and Student App.

According to the details, this student app is the first of its kind in the history of the universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Until now, no such app has been introduced in any university of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Dr. Ateeque Ur Rehman, Director of IT Services, while addressing the function, said that the IT Directorate is at the forefront of providing assistance in technical issues, troubleshooting, and training for students, faculty, and staff. They ensure that everyone can use IT resources effectively. Ensuring the security of sensitive data and compliance with data protection regulations is our top priority. The IT Directorate ensures the management and maintenance of the University's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and data centers. This infrastructure is essential for the functioning of various academic and administrative services. Furthermore, while discussing the Campus Management System and Student App, he said that the Directorate of IT Services has been working tirelessly since June 2023 to ensure remote access for students and faculty from anywhere to work and solve their problems. This management system and student app aim to reduce paperwork and resources, thus saving costs by improving resource utilization.

Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, congratulated the Director of IT Services, Dr. Ateeque Ur Rehman, and his team for their hard work and the successful launch of the Campus Management System and Student App. He said that the work of the IT Directorate is comprehensive. In line with the university's mission to create an accessible and efficient learning environment, the Directorate of IT Services has always acknowledged every challenge without compromising the team's flexibility and problem-solving abilities.

At the end of the ceremony, he congratulated Dr. Ateeque Ur Rehman, Director of IT Services, and his team for the successful launch of the state-of-the-art Campus Management System and Student App. He said that the IT Directorate is the backbone of our university's digital ecosystem. Its contribution is very important for the success of the university.
