UoH Hosted Seminar on Population Growth and Economic Development in Pakistan

The University of Haripur organized a seminar titled "The Impact of Population Growth on Economic Development in Pakistan." The seminar, jointly conducted by the Department of Public Health and Nutrition and the Population Welfare Department, Haripur, explored the intricate relationship between population growth and economic development.

Distinguished experts and scholars, including the Director of the Population Welfare Department, Mr. Ashfaq, and Deputy Director, Ms. Shaughufta Kamal, delivered a fruitful lecture. Dr. Shahbaz Zaki, the Head of the Department of Physical Health and Nutrition emphasized the imperative for collaborative action in addressing the challenges posed by population growth on economic development.
