Spearheaded by the Provost's office in collaboration with the Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI) and Individual land, an organization dedicated to creating space for individuals, the session was attended by 60 students. The aim was to enhance awareness and understanding of RTI and PWDs rights. The next session in February will award training certificates to students, enabling them to conduct further training.
Distinguished participants included Mr. Riaz Muhammad, the Provost, Mr. Saqib Awan, Assistant Provost, Mr. Noor Alam from CPDI, Mr. Zahid Abdullah, RTI Advisor at CPDI, Mr. Adnan, Field Coordinator at Individual land, Ms. Humaira Sardar, Field District Coordinator at Individual land, Muhammad Afsar, Focal Person at WAJ, and several other members.
The diverse expertise of the speakers provided valuable insights into the significance of RTI and the unique challenges faced by Persons with Disabilities. The interactive session encouraged active participation, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.
